For the past couple years I have been able to have a job that I love. .. With girls that I absolutly adore. Let me introduce you.... We've got Anna (11), Olivia (6) and Cate (3). These girls are literally the light of my life.... Here are 10 things they have taught me

1. It's okay to be tired. We all need a good nap every once in a while.

2. Frozen yogurt is a good treat at any given moment. It doesn't have to be a special occasion to treat yourself to some ice cream :)

Meet Charlie. I started nannying her about a month ago due to her family's difficult situation and she is about the most adorable little thing anyone has ever met

3. Wear what you want- when you want. Who cares if anyone judges you?

4. Some of the best kind of fun you can have with your best friend is crashin' on the couch with a movie. (this is their cousin- Jayne Ruby. She is Cate's age and they are in best friend love. If I could kidnap anyone it would EASILY be her)

5. There can never be too many bubbles in your bath.

6. It's okay to admit you are cute. Charlie's most used phrase is "you're funny and I'm cute"..... if you heard it, you would melt.

7. Sassy isn't always cute..... but throw on some sunglasses with that sass, and you can get away with ANYTHING.

8. If you fall asleep before bedtime... you are most likely to be cuddled, pajamas put on for you, AND carried to bed. The greatest combination.

9. I can't quite get this very last picture to load but it is PERFECT for this one so I will load it tomorrow (gotta post this tonight or jazz with die). But #9 is that you can cry anytime you feel the need, no matter what the occasion is.

10. If you love- you are going to get love back. It's going to be so hard for me to leave these girls behind when I move..... luckily Charlie's comin' with me. I'll just have to shower the other 3 with packages.

Well... now that I typed up a great post and lost all of it AND couldn't get a video to post up, let's give it another shot.
And the video didn't work. SO before you read any of this, get on youtube and type in "tragedy of first position" and watch it. You will wish there was 19 minutes more of it.

I'm convinced that the girl in this video is me. I truely am. So uncoordiated and so badly wanting to be good at something. My life.

Now that high school is over in 16 days... not that I am counting.... I really am looking back on all that I have done and wonder what I could have done different. Something that sticks out is being more involved. With anything. I would have liked to be on a sports team. I couldn't really get myself to pick a sport and give it my all. So... I didn't.

In the past year I have really learned to love running. I am not really sure why this love came so late in my high school career. I want to run the Honolulu marathon on December 11th aannnnddddd if anyone wants to join, please do :) I ran 6 miles yesterday so... 20 more and we are good to go :) oh boy...

But speaking of sports let's give a big shout out to our lax bros for their win yesterday, yeah? Good job guys, we all wish we could be just like you. Headphones, tall tees, tanks, high socks, pigeon toes. Everything. It's truely a sad thing that not all of us could be like you. Knowing how you reacted when someone draws a picture of you, I'm sure this post is just the most giant compliment ever. Stay sick. I hope it works out for you. Whenever life is getting you down, just remind yourself how awesome you truely are. You'll purk right up.

Anyway.......

the first post....

Well for those of you reading (most likely just Jasmine), I commited to making a blog and keeping up with it. The name of my blog is lets learn to hula... and I have decided that I WILL learn to hula over on the island of Honolulu. I am making a commitment to one day, in the next year, have a blog post about my learning hula dancing. So here it goes :) I am really actually way excited!

The next few weeks starts a whole new chapter in my life. I could completely change who I am in the next three months and very few people would even know. Crazy.

This question has been lingering in my head for a good 2 hours... it has rained for days and days which means I would be wearing long pants which meant I didn't have to shave. Well I wake up this morning 20 minutes before I have to be to work and was just going to wear a pair of runing shorts, put them on, look down, and I have about 2.7 inch long leg hairs (that may or may not be an exagerration). Is it inappropriate to go to work with legs like that? I did it anyway but it's a two year old child and her paranoid bed ridden mother. Why should I feel I need to shave my legs? If I am going to feed the lady breakfast in bed, you best believe that I will look as frumpy as I'd like.

I feel like this post is getting out of control. so... keep it real until next time :)
