77 bus stops

happy late hump day to all. Thursday Court and I celebrated the one year mark of my brother, Michael, and her good friend, Jacob, being on their misisons for exactly one year. What better way to celebrate than to take an hour and a half bus ride down the oceanside to the ghetto of hawaii to eat some mexican food? we didn't really know where we were going. but we knew we wanted mexican food, and this bus was the way to get it. soo.... about 77 bus stops into this journey, we decide to yank the little thing that tells the bus driver to drop us off. we get off the bus... no mexican food in sight. take a walk a block or 2 and here we have it. the tiniest shack of a place anyone has ever seen. walk in and see 6 small tables just waiting for guests. then not to mention the hour it took to prepare the mexican food. it was delicious.
on the way back, we may or may not have somehow ended up at a random bus stop by ourselves on the bus... we considered stealing the bus. but first we needed to document.
we had a group project we needed finished for the next day and had about half of it done, which gives us great reasoning to accept an invitation to the beach on the way home. we arrived at the beach at 9 pm. did a little night swimming. had a chat on the beach. before we knew it we were headed back to the good 'ol dorm room at 1:30 in the morning... sorry our powerpoint wasn't the highest quality anyone had seen- I fully blame the beach. another life lesson learned: don't play games with boys... or even girls that you don't know without playing the name game. It'll never turn out good. Not even worth the risk. THEN last night was so you think you can sing, on campus. I was pretty excited to go just because I didn't know what was in store for us. What better way to sing in a singing competetion than in your native tongue? Apparently there isn't. Because the first half of this shindig was in vietnamese, chinese, or japanese. this is the typical feedback they'd get from the judges "well... I couldn't understand you, but I could sure feel the emotion!" too funny. After the first round, it ended up being much better and tons of fun. Highlight of the night: At one point in the competiton, one of the contestants was playing the piano while singing. He asked a couple of girls to come out from the audience so he could sing to them. Charming, right? Well before we know it, this polynesian chick is bookin' it down the stairs to get sang to. She jumps onto his lap and holds on for her life. The second she made a subtle movement she completely plops onto the ground. I'm sayin' butt smackin the ground and her face almost smacking right after. I have never laughed so hard before. Really great. Not to mention the fact that the most beautiful boy was hosting the show. mmmm :) This girl lost in the final round, to George from the Phillipines but she was hilarious.
Afterwards, we managed to climb ontop of La'ie Elementary school and chill on the roof. The boys we hang out with are high maintenece. Always gotta be doing something.
oh... and this is Perpigillian. aka: peri. she is going to marry my brother. for the time being, we are in love.
more to come soon.
